Conference Room & Bar Refurbishment - Phase 1

We were commissioned to provide the full interior design services and furniture procurement for the new conference room, meeting hub and bar amongst other areas which are to be completed in phases from 2019 - 2020. We needed to modernise the space and make sure it was representative of the forward thinking company that Goonhilly is, whilst meeting budget and creating a space that could host different styles of working.

The space has been well received and it was great to see it in use, acting as the VIP area for the recent Apollo 50 festival.

As part of the project we also worked with local furniture manufacturer, Cord Industries to design and manufacture bespoke laptop tables. We had not been able to find a unique, quality product within budget on the market. We utilised Richlite for the worktops which is a durable material made from paper which is either post consumer waste recycled or sustainably harvested FSC® Certified paper (FSC® C007915). The base welded base was then powder coated to suit the scheme.

The laptop table proving a great collaborative success will be available to buy very soon.
